The virus may have brought a halt to a lot of things but it’s not stopping us from sharing the best in new Rock nor is it stopping Andrew Hagar from learning new tricks and sharing his work. “While self-isolating, I’ve taken it upon myself to become an absolutely savage harmonica player,” he shares. Oh, and he’s just released his first single, ‘Judgement Day’….
Right off the bat, the song’s cadence is strong and powerful. Just a few notes in and I feel empowered to take on whatever is in my path. Hagar’s deep vocals and humanist songwriting make for a mighty duo. The story continues and then the guitar solo comes in; like the smoke trail of incense burning it wraps around and it feeds deep into the soul.
